This top quality Regency mahogany open armchair would make a very stylish desk chair. It is made from the finest timbers and is in fantastic original condition and does not appear to have been subject to any restoration to the frame.
With years of careful use and polishing the chairs has developed a warm deep reddish brown patina. It has a curved back with central flame mahogany panel and carved scrolling ends. The carved central splat has a similar flame mahogany panel curved ends in the Egyptian style.

The chair has lovely deep scroll arms, a padded drop in seat professionally reupholstered in tan hide. The whole stands on sweeping saber legs typical of the Regency period.
